For my undergraduate degree I attended Pratt Institute, focusing on Western Art before and during the Early Modern Period. I also worked heavily in the actual creation of art, and learned about the interaction of light and color in extensive courses.
I also attended the 2018 Pratt in Venice Program where I interacted with conservationists to look into the symbolic significance of Carpaccio’s Cycle of Saint Ursula.
I am working on my MA in Professional Studies for Art History that will give me the tools to become adept in the hands-on aspects of the field (e.g. collections management/archiving, administrative and registrar duties, art handling, etc.)
